GRO Team
James has 10+ years experience in nonprofit roles across finance, operations, compliance, development, and communications. He has served as Treasurer for local, national, and international nonprofits, and outside of GRO runs a 0% loan fund helping people access PPE and similar personal safety equipment and DJs accessible electronic music events. He holds a bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis from Pomona College.
Daisy comes with 10 years of experience in both the private and nonprofit social justice sectors in roles across administration, operations, compliance, policy advocacy, and community organizing. Her direct experience with marginalized communities has led her to also serve on various local boards and cohorts to bring equity to her community in California. She holds a bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, and Society from UC Irvine.
Crystal is experienced in building program infrastructure for grassroots nonprofits, and specializes in project management, volunteer recruitment and management, and developing systems and infrastructure for programs to operate more smoothly and effectively. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Global Health minor from UCLA.

GRO Finance Fellows
Yahaira Luna-Carrillo is a Junior at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Accounting and minoring in Finance. She currently works with TA98, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adults ages 16–24 prepare for meaningful careers and long-term success. Yahaira enjoys deepening her accounting and finance knowledge while exploring how these skills can be used to support organizations and create opportunities for others.
Punam Tamang is currently a Senior majoring in Accounting at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA and has been been a Finance Intern with the Community Investment Collaborative for over three years. She moved to the US from Nepal at the age of 10 and is eager to learn and grow through new experiences like GRO's Finance Fellowship.
